Sciencelet Molecular Discovery is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing knowledge across the molecular sciences. The journal provides a platform for publishing original research that deepens our understanding of biological systems, disease mechanisms, and molecular processes, while encouraging discoveries with the potential to improve human health, agriculture, biotechnology, and the environment.
The journal welcomes interdisciplinary research that combines experimental, computational, and translational approaches. We aim to support rigorous, reproducible, and ethically conducted science and to promote the timely dissemination of high-quality research to the global scientific community.
Sciencelet Molecular Discovery considers original research articles, review articles, short communications, methods papers, and perspectives in all areas of molecular science, including but not limited to:
- Molecular biology and cell biology
- Molecular medicine and translational research
- Genetics, genomics, and epigenetics
- Transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and other multi-omics studies
- Microbiology and microbial genomics
- Microbiome research and host–microbe interactions
- Biochemistry and structural biology
- Immunology and molecular pathology
- Cancer biology and molecular oncology
- Neuroscience at the molecular and cellular levels
- Molecular pharmacology and drug discovery
- Biomarker discovery and validation
- Precision and personalized medicine
- Bioinformatics, computational biology, and systems biology
- Synthetic biology and biotechnology
- Molecular diagnostics and emerging laboratory technologies
- Plant molecular biology and agricultural biotechnology
- Environmental molecular biology and microbial ecology
The journal also welcomes studies that apply molecular approaches to investigate infectious diseases, metabolic disorders, cardiovascular diseases, neurological conditions, cancer, rare diseases, and other health challenges.
Submissions should present scientifically sound methods, robust analyses, and findings that contribute meaningful insights to the field. While the journal values novelty, well-designed confirmatory studies, negative results with scientific significance, and reproducible research are also encouraged when they advance understanding or improve existing knowledge.
Sciencelet Molecular Discovery is committed to maintaining high editorial standards, a fair and transparent peer-review process, and broad accessibility through open-access publishing, ensuring that new scientific knowledge is available to researchers, clinicians, educators, and policymakers worldwide.
